"Personal and professional CEO. I was working out of state when my home flooded due to frozen pipe and flooded multiple levels and multiple rooms. MDH Contracting restored my home during this difficult time, and the work quality and professionalism exceeded my expectations. I later hired MDH on another occasion to build add an addition to my existing deck, and again was a very satisfied customer."

"Ridge Remodeling unlocked the potential of my home by delivering a vision that we could not see in 6.5 years as homeowners. We live in a small townhouse in Northern VA where space is premium. I contacted Ridge about adding a storm door and knocking down a wall to add a small kitchen island. Matt (the owner) and David (the Sales Director and Project Manager) looked at our small floor and pitched an open concept which I deemed crazy at first. As remodeling and design experts, they saw an open concept that blew our minds as homeowners. It was bold, ambitious, and stunning. We hired Ridge and prepared for a major remodel by moving our stuff out of the first floor, cramping our bedrooms and basement. Living through a remodel is not fun. Itâ s dusty and cramped. The vision that Matt and David pitched us of a beautiful open concept floor with gorgeous kitchen sustained us through the hot and dusty days. When the work was finally done, the finished product exceeded our expectations. We have beautiful new flooring. Gone is the ugly textured ceiling, replaced by a beautiful new flat ceiling with recessed lighting. We have a walk-in pantry now. The kitchen now has brand new cabinets (plywood, not cheap MDF), with a big kitchen island, granite countertop and beautiful stone backsplash. For technical folks like me, it is all up to code. Every appliance has its own circuit. Compliance and safety are a top concern with Ridge. Oh yes and our living area is finally painted after 6+ years of boring white. Lots of companies can do deliver a quality end product. Ridge isnâ t the only game in town. The reason I did this job with Ridge (my 2nd in less than 2 years) is because they care about my family as clients and do a great job at project management. Ridge promised an ambitious (for us) vision. Every step of the way, from the time I signed the contract to the time we signed off on the work, David was there for us. Good news, bad news, questions â we heard it first from David. For instance, one of the cabinet doors came in scuffed. Things happen in shipping, not Ridgeâ s fault. I heard it first from David. I didnâ t have to inspect and beg for a fix after the fact. I have dozens so stories like that. David visited and inspected between 1-3 times per week. Matt, the owner, also visited and provided us with insights and expertise. They graciously talked me out of some poor taste ideas that I had (paint colors). The other reason for Ridge was quality. Everything was quality. They did not skimp on products or resources. You can do pullups on the shelves they built in that pantry â super strong. They used the premium paint, not the bottom barrel stuff that will peel in a year. Jeremias and his crew were craftsmen wizards. They are fast, they work hard, and their work is top quality. On top of that, they were delightful and fun people. I hated the dust, but I loved the work and the music and learning from Jeremias. Bottom line, Ridge Remodeling is a company of caring experts with good design instincts and high integrity. We had concepts of what we wanted. Matt and Davidâ s expertise helped fill the gaps. David is a stellar PM and great guy. They have the full trust of my family, which says a lot. They have transformed my home and unlocked potential and possibilities. Lots of companies can remodel, but there is no one else I trust. Summary of Work: Living Room / Kitchen / Dining area remodel - Teardown and new ceiling - Recessed lighting throughout the entire floor - Removal of 2 walls for open concept - Rerouting of plumbing, electrical - New circuits for all appliances and outlets for kitchen. - New LVP flooring - New plywood cabinets - New kitchen island - Granite countertops, stone backsplash - New stove, oven, microwave, disposal, faucet - Wall, ceiling paint - Front door paint, new storm door. ......new possibilities"

After meeting with the insulation consultant who was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and provided detailed explanations of how to insulate I knew proceeding with the job was the right decision. "Definitely choose Terra Insulation! Josh, Dylan, and Brandon were all fantastic to work with. They removed existing insulation in two attics that was covered in mouse droppings, sanitized both, added baffling, sealed holes, blew in cellulose insulation, and sealed all entry points. They explained all the options and pricing clearly, gladly answered my MANY questions with patience, took care of the rebates with the utility companies, which significantly reduced the total cost, were super flexible with scheduling, very clean, and professional. There were no surprises or hidden costs. I was extremely happy with Terra's workmanship and professionalism and would hire them again without question."

"I highly recommend Lumeco Energy. They did my home energy audit and gave me some good recommendations. We chose to air seal our attic and add more insulation. They were able to get me some rebates from BGE so the pricing was discounted."

Comment: I currently live in an apartment above a restaurant. The owners said they have soundproofed the apartment but the two bedroom still carry a lot of noise from the restaurant downstairs. It’s hard to sleep or focus when there are constant vibrations and people’s voice carry. Both rooms are carpeted. I would like to explore options to increase the soundproofing in the rooms, which will not only make me happier and rested again but allow the space to be better for the owners as well for future tenants. Best, Hope

Comment: I live in an 1888 Baltimore row home that is seriously cold in many areas. I believe the addition on the back may not have much insulation or any because it is so cold back there. It is an end home and not even 900 square feet, so I am trying to figure out how to pursue blown in insulation and how much it might cost. I would want the walls/holes repaired, but we could do the painting restoration on them. Let me know. Thank you!
